The We Deliver Local app is a new service developed and designed by developed by We Deliver local, to bring local online grocery delivery directly to your phone.

Information for shops
We Deliver Local connects shops with customers and delivery drivers via their mobile phones. If you have a shop and would like to use the service, simply register your shop with the site here.
Once your shop goes live, you will automatically appear on the app and can either offer click and collect, deliver yourself, or be connected with freelance drivers in your area.

Information for drivers
Earn extra money with your car or van delivering from shops near you.
Once you have downloaded the app, you will be able to begin accepting and rejecting orders in your area; as and when you are available to work.
When a customer places an order you'll be notified via the We Deliver Local app, at this point you can decide if you are able to complete the order.
Each time an order is placed, you will be notified via the app that a job is pending, this will also tell you the amount you will earn for that job, the distance, and whether the order is collected from a specific shop, or to be collected yourself.
To be active, make sure you are logged in to the app when you are available to work.
Once delivered, you will be given a pin number by the customer which you enter in to the app. This completes the order and makes sure you are paid.
What if a product is not available?
Substitutions are possible. Often it is useful to contact the customer to double check if they are happy with a replacement before delivery (you will be given the customer's phone number via the app).
If the customer does not want a substitution simply delete this item from their order via the app
What about alcohol delivery?
Each alcohol delivery should be checked for ID before the order is completed. We also have several checks on the website to prevent under age ordering. You purchase the items on
behalf of the customer and act as an agent to the purchase.
What if there is an order and no shops registered in my area?
When you are notified of an order, you will see whether this is from an existing shop, or to collect yourself from any shop.
If the order is collect yourself - simply buy and collect the relevant goods from your local store and take them to the customer. It's very similar to how a customers may order from a taxi service.
The average order is £20-£30 which you are reimbursed for after delivery, plus the relevant delivery value. This is calculated based on distance, time and size of the order. When you are notified a delivery is available you will be told how much the job is worth. You are paid directly into your bank account, usually the next day.
We like to encourage all our shops and drivers and to share the app as much as possible via facebook and twitter as this will really help boost your orders.

Do I have to take payment from the customer?
No, all orders are paid for online. You do not have to handle the customer's money. The customer was given a PIN when they ordered. Simply enter this PIN into the app
when requested to confirm delivery.
